Course Overview
A 9-week programme for those serious about starting their journey in barbering - built around hands-on cutting, real confidence behind the chair, and the correct foundations from day one.
This course focuses on building strong foundations, giving you a clear understanding of how haircuts work rather than just teaching you to copy steps. You'll learn key techniques such as line, layering, graduation and fading - all broken down in a simple and structured way.
The primary focus from the very start is the practical side - getting you comfortable and confident with scissors and clippers in hand. That confidence is the most important thing you can develop early on, and everything on this course is built around it.
We touch on the theory side of barbering using head sheet diagrams to explain what we are doing and why - giving you just enough understanding to make sense of each technique as you practise it.

What Makes This Different
This course is not built around shortcuts or unrealistic expectations. Many academies promise you will be shop ready in a short period of time, but barbering is a craft that takes time, repetition and consistency to develop.
The focus here is on giving you the correct systems, understanding and structure so you can continue improving long after the course finishes. Every student learns at a different pace - and that is respected here.
With only four students per course, you will receive a high level of hands-on guidance, support and correction throughout - a more personal learning experience that ensures you are constantly improving each week.
